About Howe Methodist Church
Howe Methodist Church has existed as a Methodist witness in our community for over 140 years.
Our church has been around nearly as long as Methodism has existed in the United States. It began as part of the third-great awakening in the US, which was characterized by Methodists putting their faith in action for community transformation.
We are proud of our history, rooted in our Methodist tradition, and excited to see what God does with our church’s new beginning!
We are here to help introduce people to God’s love.
Why belong to a Church?
Life is hard. This church knows that having a community or “church family” to turn towards in times of need makes getting through life a LOT easier. Not only that, but when times are good, we can spend time learning to live good lives, to love each other better, to try and hold each other accountable, and to challenge each other to be the best people God created us to be. It is our hope that our church family would be a community where all people feel like they belong so that we might fulfill God’s purpose for our lives together.
