Howe Methodist Church

Wesley Groups

Wherever you are, you are never alone.

Wesley Groups welcome all people, meeting them where they are in life and embracing them in Christian love, fellowship, and accountability. Grounded in Scripture and guided by Reason, Tradition, and Experience, we will explore life’s questions, doubts, and struggles—leaning on one another for support and encouragement. Together, we will grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and share the transforming grace of Jesus Christ with the world.

Church was never meant to be just Sunday. In 1729 John & Charles Wesley formed a study group with just a handful of fellow Christians living at Oxford University. They dedicated themselves to diving deeper into scripture, examining their lives, and holding each other accountable in love and support. It is from this small group that the entire Methodist Denomination we know today grew. In this tradition, we have formed our own Wesley Groups so that as a church family we can hold each other up in love through the good and bad times, examine our faith, study the scriptures, and form lasting friendships.
