Church Policies

In order to provide a safe environment for all who serve or participate in Howe Methodist Church ministries, it is the Church’s policy that any staff/volunteer working directly with Youth and Children in the following capacities be certified and have a completed Criminal Background Check;

•Nursery

•Children’s Ministry (Elementary Sunday Schools, K4J)

•Youth (Middle/High School Sunday Schools, Wednesday Night programming)

•WeeCare Teachers and Substitutes

HMC is a member of MinistrySafe, Organization ID: 104501, and will provide all training and certification to each staff or volunteer. While there is a cost associated with both training and background checks, HMC offers reimbursement upon request.
