JB was born in Oklahoma, grew up in Dallas, TX and graduated from Parish Episcopal School in 2009. He attended the University of Oklahoma and went on to receive a Master of Divinity degree from Perkins School of Theology at SMU in 2018. He joins us from Poetry UMC where he came to love rural ministry and the faith that inspires these small, spread-out communities. Because Poetry was recently incorporated, he has spent the last year serving alongside the City Council and helping build their town. JB looks forward to creating the same type of relationship here in our small village of Howe.
JB has two passions outside of serving in ministry. His pets- Lily, Rosie May, and Snowball, and a strong love for college football. He loves the Sooners which we promise to not hold against him, being outdoors whether it be around a campfire or shooting skeet, and quiet time with a good book and an ice-cold Dr. Pepper.

Summer was born in Texas and raised in Colorado. She enjoys any opportunity to play outside! She has been married for 20 years, and has 2 awesome kids who are growing up here in Howe. Her family loves being active in our community, supporting our fellow Bulldogs and our church. As a family, the DeLavan's are big race fans, spending time at the dirt oval and drag strip or working on their own cars at home. They also take time to slow down and love to go hiking and camping where they hunt for fossils and rocks to add to their collection!

Jessica was born and raised in Denison, Texas, saved at age 9, and blessed with her husband (and high school sweetheart) of 27 plus years, along with their two adult boys, and the joyful little Lucy (their 8 year old Shih-tzu). Jessica loves to sing, worship, travel, cook and organize.
